2023 Mock Challenges

 Why Mock Challenges?

Join professional librarians and learn how to run a library book challenge committee meeting - an essential part collection development policies. This virtual mock challenge will model what happens before, during, and after a committee meeting.

Below are the three books chosen for the challenges, including the dates for each book challenge. Please note that ILF does not condone the removal of these books. This is for education purposes only.

The Mock Challenges are open to all, there is no membership requirement to participate. Don't wait and register today! One event has already SOLD-OUT! There is a link to join the waitlist below.

The only requirement is to read the book in its entirety prior to attending the challenge. Space is limited, this is offered on a first come first serve basis. There is no cost to participate in the mock challenges. You may attend any challenge you like, or all three! Each Mock Challenge is a virtual event.
