Public LibrariesPublic Library Institutional dues are calculated as 0.0006% of the library's total operating fund expenditures from two years prior to the membership year. Renewal invoices are prepared and sent in November each year. Public library contacts listed on institutional membership profiles will receive an email with an updated invoice for the following year. If you have any questions related to your institution's renewal invoice or amount, please email [email protected]. To join ILF as a public institutional member, please either pay the invoice attached to your institutional membership profile or email [email protected] for assistance. Please let us know if you would like to change the main contact on your institutional member profile.
Academic LibrariesAt the November 2024 ILF board meeting, an updated institutional member structure for academic institutions was adopted. The new structure was designed in collaboration between IALA and the Membership Committee based on creating a more equitable institutional support structure for institutions across the state. Academic library institutional dues are calculated based on the number of full-time enrolled students at the collegiate institution. Student enrollment under 1,000 | $100 Renewal invoices for academic libraries are prepared and sent out during the renewal period in December of the current calendar year for the next membership calendar year. To join ILF as an academic institutional member, please email [email protected]. *Regardless of when you join, ILF memberships are calendar year based and expire December 31.*
