The purpose of IALA is to advise ILF leadership on academic library issues and support the outreach, recruitment, and retention of academic library affiliated members in ILF.

The Indiana Academic Library Association (IALA), an affiliation of the Indiana Library Federation (ILF), acts as the agent for the Indiana Chapter of the Association of College and Research Libraries (ACRL), a division of the American Library Association (ALA).

 

Crossroads: The Journal of Indiana Libraries

Crossroads: The Journal of Indiana Libraries is an up-and-starting peer reviewed, open access scholarly journal that is published by the Indiana Library Federation (ILF) in partnership with Indiana Academic Library Association (IALA), Indiana Black Librarians Network (IBLN), Academic Libraries of Indiana (ALI), and Private Academic Library Network of Indiana (PALNI). The journal will launch officially in 2025!
