2023 Annual Conference Featured Speaker

Velshonna Luckey 

A native of Detroit, Michigan, Velshonna graduated from Central Michigan University with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration.  She has a Master of Science in Management from Indiana Wesleyan University and a certification in Nonprofit Executive Leadership from the University of Notre Dame. She has worked in the TRiO Upward Bound Program at the University of Notre Dame, and the University of Notre Dame’s Robinson Community Learning Center.  She has received the Presidential Values Award from the University of Notre Dame, the Indiana Torchbearer Award from the Indiana Commission for Women. 
Velshonna owns her own company, Pendulum Consulting, LLC, which focuses on executive coaching of underrepresented professionals and assisting organizations serving youth and their families. In January of 2019, she joined United Way of St. Joseph County, and became Director of Engagement of Self-Healing Communities of Greater Michiana, a United Way of St Joseph County fiscally sponsored  nonprofit. Velshonna is also the founder of a retreat business, Living in the Rest, Inc.
